Twix Cheesecakes!

I have had a fab couple of days. Thursday, first Bear and I went to his work for a meal and to help his manager out by doing a few chalk boards for the outside of the pub. Then we met up with Bears niece for a few drinks and a game of pool. I had already decided I was going to be making Twix Cheesecake cupcakes that evening so I invited her along for a bit of bonding as we get on like a house on fire (most of the time anyway).  Later that evening we prepared for the feet of cooking these cheesecakes, I like to consider myself a capable cook, however when it comes to deserts and cakes it is known that I can only make Bannofee Pie and Coffee cake. I was prepared for a disaster, but for me all the fun is in the cooking.

Here they are fresh out of the oven they needed to set over night after this point so they obviously looked a bit less runny. Whilst we were waiting for them to set a bit, so we could have a cheeky little taste haha, we decided to play a game of monopoly. It went on for 5 and a half hours and was one of the most fun games I've ever played. Especially as Bear is a bit of a sore loser, which just made it even funnier.

Friday we were all up early as we were going out for lunch with one of Bear's friends. We went to Nando's which was bloody lovely! Anyways I have never met someone as nice as Bears friend, he was just full of old fashioned charm and traditional values with a modern edge and updated morals. He is single so I hope he finds a lovely lady as he truly deserves one.

Saturday was spent food shopping, making curry and then being a couch potato. We watched  the Hangover part 2 which was hilarious, abit similar storyline to the first one though but I suppose this  can be explained by Alans wish to keep the 'wolfpack' the same.

Today will be spent with Bears family whilst he is at work, and then we are staying up to watch the wrestling tonight.

Hope you've all had as nice a week as I have
